As academic staff you may spend a period for teaching purposes in UniTrento, teaching classes within a course or a workshop.

Beneficiaries
Academic staff. Check with your International office if you are eligible. Your home university must have signed an Erasmus+ agreement with UniTrento (see the map of our partners).

Duration
From 2 up to 60 days, travel excluded. Usually the visit lasts about a week, but you should check with your International office how many days you may be funded.

Teaching hours
At least 8 hours (8 hours per week). If the visit includes both teaching and training activities, teaching hours are halved.

Funding
All the expenses are covered by your home university, check the availability of funds with your International office.

If you would like to come to Trento, contact the International Relations Division ([email protected]) well in advance, providing your Curriculum Vitae and the topics of your lessons. If you are already in touch with one of our professors, let us know. At the end of the visit, please send us your certificate of attendance, in which is stated the period of your visit. You will receive a grant covered by Erasmus+ ICM funds paid by UniTrento.

Fulbright Programme

Beneficiaries
US professors and researchers invited to contribute to their teaching and research activities.

Fulbright Specialist Program
As US professors (included in the Fulbright Specialist roster) you can visit UniTrento for periods from 2 to 6 weeks for teaching and expert advice activities. Yearly call in autumn for mobilities between April and September. Accommodation and food are provided and paid by UniTrento.

Fulbright Intercountry Program
As a US professor or researcher you can be hosted in Trento for short periods to hold classes or seminars or to participate in conferences. No deadline for this programme but available places and budget are limited. Accommodation and food are provided and paid by host universities.

Fulbright Scholars
As a US professor or researcher you can be hosted in Trento for teaching and research in all disciplines up to 4 months. Yearly call in summer for mobilities.

Fulbright Chairs or Fulbright Lectureships
As US professors or junior lecturers you can be hosted in Trento for teaching and research, for a period of 3 months.The Fulbright Commission deals with the recruiting in the USA, offers medical insurance and sponsors the visa issuing. UniTrento pays part of the scholarship, according to the profile.

The positions open are:

  • 1 Fulbright Chair in Law;
  • 1 Junior Lectureships at the Department of Industrial Engineering;
  • 1 Junior Lectureships at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering
