The master's degree programmes in English have been divided into two categories, with different amounts for tuition fees. See which tuition fees apply to you: find your programme or the programme you would like to apply to.
These tuition fees apply to the following degree programmes:
- Agrifood Innovation Management
- BEA - Behavioural and Applied Economics
- Mathematics
- Materials Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Management and Industrial Systems Engineering
- Physics
- Cognitive Science
- Sociology and Social Research
- Data Science
- Energy Engineering
- Environmental Meteorology (for students enrolled from academic year 2021/22)
- Environmental Engineering (for students enrolled from academic year 2021/22)
- Material and Production Engineering (for students enrolled before academic year 2022/23)
First year
Tuition fees for the first year are based on the students' admission score:
- 90 or more: exemption from tuition fees for the first year;
- 70-89: €1.000
- 60-69: €2.000
- 50-59: €4.500
Second year
Tuition fees for the second year are based on the number of credits earned by 10 August of the first year of study. If you pay tuition fees in the first year, you may be exempt in the second year and vice versa:
- 42 or more credits: exemption from tuition fees in the second year;
- 36 to 41 credits: €1.000
- 24 to 35 credits: €2.000
- 6 to 23 credits: €4.500
- less than 6 credits: €6.000
Further years of study
If you graduate after the expected duration of studies, fees will be calculated based on credits earned by 10 August of the last year of enrollment:
- 84 or more: exemption for the first year after the expected duration of the programme (2+1). Please note that the exemption is only granted for the first year beyond the expected duration of the Master's degree. For the following years, fees are €1,000 per year;
- 72 to 83 credits: €1.000
- 48 to 71 credits: €2.000
- 12 to 47 credits: €4.500
- less than 12 credits: €6.000

- Information and Communication Engineering
- Computer Science
- Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology
- Human Computer Interaction
- Quantitative and Computational Biology
- Environmental Meteorology (for students enrolled until academic year 2020/21)
- Artificial Intelligence Systems
- MEIS - European and International Studies (for students enrolled until academic year 2024/25)
- MISS - International Security Studies (for students enrolled until academic starting from 2024/25)
- GLaM - Global Law Making
First year
Tuition fees for the first year are based on the students' admission score:

- 50-59: €6.500
