A Diploma Supplement is a document that integrates your official university-level qualification and facilitates its evaluation and recognition within the European Higher-Education Area. It includes a precise description of your academic career and of the skills acquired during your studies, according to the European standard.
It is issued to all graduates of the University of Trento (bachelor’s degrees, master’s and specialist degrees under Ministerial Decrees 509/99 and 270/04).
It is issued in Italian and English.
It is available in digital (PDF) or printed format, unbound and bound (with a cover).
How to request the Diploma Supplement
You can request the Diploma Supplement by completing the online application from the relevant Student Support.
If the online application does not allow you to request the PDF to be sent, contact Student Support by email.
When the Diploma Supplement is ready, it will be delivered in the manner selected in the “Diploma Supplement Request”:
- in PDF format via email: free;
- in paper format (bound and/or unbound) with collection at Student Support: free. When it is available, Student Support will contact you to organise collection, which may also be done by someone you delegate;
- in paper format (bound and/or unbound) with shipping: a fee of €30 to be paid when completing the online application.
The times for the preparation of the Diploma Supplement vary depending on the format: a few days for the pdf, about 2 weeks for the unbound format, up to 2 or 3 months for the bound format. Further delays may be due to delays in postal services.
