Applications are welcome from IST students who have earned at least 60 credits at IST and have:
- B2 level of English for the courses in Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering;
- A2 level of Italian for the course in Civil Engineering.
Candidates can apply for one of the following Master’s degrees:
- Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering.
- Materials Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering.
At least 3 semesters. The studies leading to the Double Degree usually take three years and 180 credits.
Courses in Civil Engineering are taught in Italian.
Courses Materials Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering are taught in English.
Courses in Environmental Engineering are taught in English and Italian.
Students participating in the double degree programme pay the tuition fees to IST. Students must also purchase 3 tax stamps of 16 euro each for administrative procedures (available from post offices, banks and tobacconists).
The thesis shall be co-supervised by professors of both institutions and discussed at UniTrento.
At the end of the programme, the students obtain:
- a Laurea magistrale (Master's Degree) in Ingegneria Civile or in Ingegneria per l'Ambiente e il Territorio or in Materials Engineering or in Mechatronics Engineering, from UniTrento;
- a Mestrado from IST.
