MUP is a dynamic and modern university in a vibrant and multicultural city. It has about 4,000 students, many of whom are international. MUP ranks among the best private universities in the Czech Republic with a network of more than 200 partner universities on 5 continents.

Study stays and internships abroad are available to all MUP students, regardless of their citizenship and over 200 MUP students take advantage of this opportunity every year. The interest of incoming students from abroad who decide to spend some time at MUP contributes to the multicultural atmosphere of the university.

The interdisciplinary nature of the course allows you to fully understand the economic, legal, political and social transformations in Europe and in the international context. MUP graduates can aspire to hold important roles in diplomatic missions, international institutions and organizations and in the world of journalism. The Master in International Relations and European Studies will allow you deepen your knowledge of international politics, gain some practical skills in the field of diplomacy and build a network of contacts with experts from international, European and governmental institutions.

Who can apply?

Applications are welcome from UniTrento students enrolled in the 1st year of the master's degree in European and International Studies who have obtained at least 50 credits on their degree and have a B2 level of English.

Duration, organisation and tuition fees

The mobility lasts 2 semesters (60 credits), from September.

The study plan must be agreed with your academic supervisors at UniTrento and at the partner university.

The courses are taught in English.

Students participating in the double degree programme pay the tuition fees to UniTrento.

Thesis and qualifications

The thesis work must be carried out while at MUP under the supervision of lecturers from both institutions and must be discussed at UniTrento. 

At the end of the programme, the students obtain:

  • a Master's degree in International Relations and European Studies from MUP, and

  • a Laurea magistrale in European and International Studies from UniTrento.
