OThe Université de Nantes welcomes every year more than 4000 international students. Its main priority is to ensure the best reception and integration for incoming students. For over 20 years, Nantes has been offering a privileged mobility experience and individual support to each student upon their arrival through the "guichet unique". In 2019, Nantes was awarded the "Bienvenue en France" label (3 stars), as a recognition of its commitment to international students and the quality of services.
Applications are welcome from UniTrento students enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor's degree in Sociology - track Sociology and Social Sciences, with:
- a B1 level of French,
- at least 120 ECTS on their degree programme, and
- a weighted average of at least 24/30.
These requirements will be evaluated during the application procedure, between August and early September.
Always check the correctness of the information and any updates in the UniTrento call and on the partner's website.
The mobility lasts 2 semesters (60 credits) from September.
The study plan must be agreed and approved by both the supervisors. It may be useful to take certain second-year exams during your first year (you can arrange this with your supervisor).
The courses are taught in French.
Students participating in the double degree programme pay their tuition fees to UniTrento. In Nantes, students are required to pay the CVEC (Contribution de vie étudiante et de campus), which amounts to 90 euros per year.
The thesis can be discussed either in Nantes or at UniTrento bust must be supervised by professors from the two institutions.
At the end of the programme, the students obtain:
a Licence en Sociologie from Nantes, and
a Laurea in Sociologia from UniTrento.
