In the academic year 2025/26, the University of Trento launched a University education project for ten international students from conflict zones.

The project is aimed at people who are outside of Italian territory, come from a conflict zone and are unable to start or continue their university studies in safe conditions due to conflict, instability or danger.

Successful candidates will have access to a one-year university education programme (Foundation Year), during which they will be able to attend single courses and/or preparatory courses to possibly continue their university studies.

The 2025-2026 call is now closed. It's no longer possible to submit applications. Please note that there is no set timeframe for the announcement the outcome of the selection process. Possible updates in this regard will be published on this web page.
