Pro-bene-comune, Promoting well-being in the university community, is a project that aims to support the psychological well-being of the student community and prevent emotional distress.

University life is a time of opportunities, but can also come with challenges: a new environment, the pressure for examinations, the management of time and relationships. The project was created to provide students with useful tools and resources to face these moments while creating an environment for listening and support.

The project aims to strengthen the students' personal and interpersonal skills, improving their quality of life during their time at UniTrento and creating a positive foundation for the future.

Objectives

  • strengthening the Psychological counselling service, to provide an easily accessible professional support;
  • scientific research on the psychological well-being of the student community, with particular attention to risk and protective factors;
  • prevention activities, through information and awareness-raising initiatives;
  • development of digital tools to facilitate access to dedicated services and resources;
  • workshops, seminars and campaigns to promote well-being and inclusion.

The project adopts an integrated approach based on scientific evidence, with the aim of making the University of Trento even more welcoming, inclusive and attentive to people's well-being.

Resources

Taking care of yourself means caring about your body and mind. The University offers outdoor activities and brief physical activity breaks to recharge and promote mind-body balance. From guided hikes with moments of awareness to small exercise sessions in the departments, every opportunity is designed to make you feel better, breathe and regain your strength.

Dialoghi tra le vette

Writing, theatre and other expressive practices can become valuable tools for self-discovery and building more authentic relationships. The experiential workshops offer protected spaces where the participants can explore emotions, manage anxiety, experience creativity and learn to communicate more mindfully, within small groups, facilitated by professionals.

To better understand the needs, difficulties and resources of the student community, the Pro-bene-comune project is conducting research on psychological well-being during university years. The anonymous and voluntary survey makes it possible to identify risk and protective factors, to guide more targeted interventions and create a more attentive and inclusive study environment.
