The University of Trento is participating in CEETNOVA a KA2 Erasmus+ project designed to strengthen Knowledge Valorization within the European innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The project forms part of European strategies to strengthen the impact of scientific research and promote innovation through collaboration between universities and socio-economic stakeholders.

CEETNOVA brings together five European universities of the ECIU Network: the University of Stavanger (Norway) – coordinator – the University of Trento (Italy), Linköping University (Sweden), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) and Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania).

The project focuses on the concept of ‘knowledge valorisation’, i.e. the process that transforms research results into tangible value for society. In particular, CEETNOVA promotes the development of skills and tools to improve collaboration between research, innovation and business, fostering the development of solutions applicable in strategic areas such as sustainability, public policy and innovative technologies.

One of the project’s key initiatives is the training of 100 Knowledge Valorisation Ambassadors – individuals from both academic and non-academic backgrounds whose role is to facilitate knowledge transfer and strengthen dialogue between universities and society. The programme includes training activities, international workshops and opportunities for discussion among the consortium partners.
