To enrol in an undergraduate or single-cycle degree programme you must:
- have earned a certificate of secondary education, such as a high school diploma, awarded after at least 12 years of schooling,
- pass an admission test (a CISIA test, a test organized by UniTrento, or a test organized at national level) and be among the candidates included in the ranking list.
Admission to courses that require a CISIA test
The CISIA tests are designed to help students orient themselves in choosing a university and to assess their knowledge. They also serve to select students for courses with limited enrolment.
The calls for admissions for the academic year 2026/2027 are published on the websites of the individual degree courses.
Choose the UniTrento programme you wish to enrol in and read the call for applications carefully. The call specifies the type of test you must pass, the criteria for calculating the scores and the entire admission procedure.
The calls are available on the websites of each individual programme of study.
Submit your application to the call for the programme you have chosen:
- login to the Registration page with your SPID ID, CIE ID or other method
- choose the call for applications you want to enter.
If you prefer, you can register before taking the CISIA test, as long as you take the test within the timeframe indicated in the call for admissions. You will not have to enter the score, because the University of Trento will obtain it directly from CISIA.
You must submit this application to be included in the ranking. Simply registering for or passing the Cisia test is not sufficient.
Once you have successfully completed the registration procedure, you will receive a confirmation email.
You must take the CISIA test and pass it within the deadline set in the call for applications: the type of test is specified on the programme website and in the call.
The test is organised by the CISIA consortium and can be taken in all locations and ways offered by the CISIA test calendar: all information on registration, payment, calendar and organisation of the test is available on the CISIA website.
Check the ranking list of your programme; they will be published on the websites of the individual programmes of study.
If you appear as “idoneo ammesso o idonea ammessa” (eligible and admitted) in a ranking list or an updated ranking list, you must pre-enrol as indicated in the instructions that will be published together with the ranking: if you do not pre-enrol or do not meet the deadline, you will lose your place.
