Deadline to apply: 29 May 2026, at 12:00.
The call has been issued in accordance with Action 57 "RAP-SOC" of the Strategic Plan of the University of Trento.
Purpose of the call: to strengthen relations between the University and society, by supporting the dissemination of research results and building connections with the community. The call finances innovative projects with a clear focus on impact, which serve as pilot initiatives or "seed money" for the development of more structured activities or for access to additional sources of funding. Among eligible project proposals are public engagement initiatives, co-creation projects involving stakeholders, citizen science projects and experimentation with new forms of communication.
Eligibility: applications are welcome from Departments and Centres of the University of Trento. Departments and centres can submit multiple proposals, but as a rule only one of these will be funded. For each project a scientific coordinator or contact person must be designated. This person must be affiliated with the department or centre submitting the application and will be in charge of coordination, administrative relations and final reporting.
Funding: the total funding available is 30,000 euros. The maximum contribution that can be allocated for each project is 2,000 euros, paid in the form of co-funding. The applicants are invited to contribute to cover the costs of the projects with their own, or third party, resources. Proposals that achieve a minimum score of 60/100 in the evaluation of the Integrated Third Mission Working Group (TITM) will be considered eligible for funding.
Application procedure: applications must be submitted by 29 May 2026 through the online form (this content is only available in Italian) prepared by the Division for the Valorization and Impact of Research.
