If you wish to transfer from another university to a course at the University of Trento:
- check the procedures and deadlines for admissions to the years following the first year of the course you are interested in;
- complete the procedure for admission to the years following the first one.
When you receive confirmation of admission:
- confirm your wish to request a transfer by sending an email to Student Support as soon as possible;
- submit the transfer application to your current university by the 30th September each year;
- wait until the University of Trento Student Support confirms that the discharge certificate from your university has been received and follow the instructions that will be sent to you by email by Student Support to complete registration by the deadline indicated.
By 31st December, the exams recognised will be registered in your academic record in Esse3.
Medical specialty schools
To request a transfer to UniTrento, you must:
- make sure that there is a place for you. To do this, send an email to [email protected].
- If you receive an email informing you that a place is available, contact the Director of the Medical Specialty School for a preliminary evaluation.
- Finally, fill in the application form at the office responsible for Specialty Schools at the University of Trento to officially submit your transfer application.
Timeline of the transfer
The transfer request is sent to the Director of the School, who submits it to the School Council, which can give a favourable or unfavourable opinion.
- Favourable opinion: after the decision of the School Council, the approval of your transfer will be sent to you and your University;
- Unfavourable opinion: the decision will be sent only to you.
The procedure must be completed at least three months before the start of the new academic year.
Useful information
Your transfer can only take place once the Rectors of the Universities involved have given their approval.
Besides, transfers can only take place if the applicant has been admitted to the following year.
No transfers are authorised during the academic year.
