Some undergraduate or Master's programmes taught in Italian at the University of Trento also offer the possibility of enrollment to candidates with citizenship outside the countries of the European Union who reside outside Italy. 

Access to these programmes is regulated by admission calls, which specify the admission procedures—entrance exams or application evaluation—and the number of available places.

A B2 level of Italian is required.

We recommend that you obtain one of these certificates of CLIQ quality system, CILS, CELI, PLIDA, ROMA3 before leaving your country.

Follow the instructions on the Admissions 2026 page and, by 20 March 2026:

  • submit your application for admission;
  • take the admission test for the course you are interested in.

The admission test results are automatically forwarded to our offices.

The deadline to submit applications is 4 March 2026, 12.00 Itailan time (GMT+1). 

Diplomas in Italian language and culture from the Università per Stranieri di Perugia or Siena

If you have a Diploma in Italian language and culture issued by the Università per Stranieri di Perugia or Siena, or if you have C1 and C2 Italian language certificates of the Council of Europe issued under the CLIQ quality system and want to enroll at the University of Trento, contact us at [email protected].
