Exemption from tuition fees
Testo

If you have a certificate of inability to work (at least 66% inability) or a certificate of disability issued under article 3, paragraph 1, of Law 104/92, you are exempt from paying tuition fees and the provincial tuition fee.

To apply for tax exemption, once enrolled, complete the Declaration of Disability, DSA and other special needs that you can find in your reserved area in Esse3 in Segreteria > Dichiarazione disabilità e DSA.

The exemption is valid for the entire duration of your studies and does not depend on the family's economic situation. You however have to pay the tax stamp (16.00 euro).
To obtain the exemption after the first year, you must complete the re-enrollment form with full tax exemption every year.

Scholarships
Testo

After the first year of study Opera Universitaria, the organization that supports the right to education in the Province of Trento, provides merit-based scholarships to students of the University who meet specific economic requirements.

Each year, Opera Universitaria publishes a call for applications for scholarships containing the requirements, criteria and deadlines for submitting scholarship applications.

Students with a civil inability equal to or greater than 66% or with a disability under article 3, paragraph 1, of Law no. 104 of 5 February 1992 who have been awarded a scholarship in the first year of enrolment continue to receive the scholarship for:

  • nine semesters for undergraduate degree programmes
  • seven semesters for Master's programmes
  • thirteen semesters for the single-cycle master's degree programmes in Law and Construction Engineering-Architecture
  • fifteen semesters for the single-cycle Master's degree in Medicine and Surgery.

If you have a certified inability or disability, the merit requirement to continue to receive the scholarship in the years following the first one may be reduced as established in the Opera Universitaria call.
