Enrolling in single courses allows you to attend lessons, sit the exam for one or more courses of the bachelor's or master's degree and single-cycle or master's degree courses, and obtain certification of the exams taken without having to enrol in the course of study.
Single courses are useful for those who:
- wish to update their knowledge about specific topics or integrate their professional skills;
- have already graduated but need to take additional exams for admission to public competitions or specialisation schools;
- are University students enrolled at foreign universities and who wish to attend courses, both under mobility programmes and agreements, and on their own initiative.
It is possible to enrol in single courses of the subjects of most bachelor's, master's and single-cycle master's degree courses offered in the current academic year.
There are however some exceptions:
To enroll in the courses of study listed below, you must obtain authorization from the head of the study program or from the director of the department or school.
Submit the application for enrollment, you will then be contacted to inform you whether the enrolment has been authorized or not.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work;
- Single-cycle master’s degree in Building Engineering-Architecture;
- Master's degree in Cognitive Science;
- Master's degree in Data Science;
- Master's degree in Behavioural and Applied Economics;
- Master's degree in Energy Engineering;
- Master's degree in Environmental Meteorology;
- Master's degree in European and International Studies;
- European Master in Business Studies;
- Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction;
- Master's degree in Innovation Management;
- Master's degree in International Management;
- Master's degree in International Security Studies;
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering;
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
It is not possible to enrol in single courses of the following study programmes:
- Bachelor's degree in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies;
- Bachelor's degree in Professional Education;
- Master's degree in Global Law Making (GLaM);
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Interfaces and Technologies;
- Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology Sciences and Techniques;
- Bachelor's degree in Biomolecular Sciences and Technologies;
- Bachelor's degree in Motor Sciences, Sport and Wellbeing;
- Single-cycle master's degree in Medicine and Surgery.

By enrolling in single courses a.y. 2024/2025 you can take exams in:
- the January and February winter session 2025;
- the June, July and August, September summer session 2025;
- the January and February winter session 2026;
- any further sessions of the academic year 2024/2025 according to the rules and procedures established by the department and course of study regulations.
