Generative AI offers great potential but, however advanced, it can produce inaccurate or outdated information, making it essential for users to verify the information obtained before using it in official documents or academic papers.

Users must therefore develop the ability to identify inaccuracies, biases or inconsistencies, critically evaluating outputs based on their knowledge, in relation to the specific context, their needs and purpose.

Generative AI must be used as a tool to support creativity, research and teaching and learning, without replacing critical thinking, human analysis and scientific discussion. Users should not consider the results of generative AI as finished products in order to make the most of their potential while avoiding the associated risks and making their own contribution in terms of field knowledge, creativity and innovation.
