Every year UniTrento sponsors 4 Short-Term Programs for International Students - STP4IS, organized in Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programs format (BIP), aimed at strengthening partnerships with international universities, to encourage incoming mobility, to recruit new students, and to make UniTrento known all over the world.
Up to 2 UniTrento students will be allowed to apply only if there are still places available when applications close.
BIP format consists of:
- a combination of physical mobility on campus (minimum 5 days) and virtual activities awarding at least 3 ECTS;
- face-to-face activities, including visits, excursions and a social program;
- interdisciplinary approach, innovative learning, challenge-based education;
- Certificate of Attendance and Transcript of Records with at least 3 ECTS awarded. In order to receive these students must participate in all activities included in the program. Attendance will be tracked daily;
- Learning Agreement required if you benefit from a scholarship.
The final selection of admitted participants is made by UniTrento. Students must apply online.

From 2 February to 13 February 2026, Department of Sociology and Social Research, Trento.
For Summer Schools, online applications are due from 1 April to 30 April.
For Winter Schools, online applications are due from 1 October to 31 October.
Final selection is carried out by the UniTrento academic coordinators for each School.
Applications are submitted through an online form available on each event page.
Since you are selected and come from a University Partner of UniTrento, you are granted a fee waiver.
If you come within the Erasmus+ Programme K131 or the ICM K171 Program, you can also apply for a short-term mobility scholarship. Ask your International Office for details.
At your charge and under your responsibility are:
- Meals: approximately from 3.10 to 4.90 euros (€) in the university canteen, 15-30 € at a café or restaurant, less if you cook by yourself or with others;
- Housing: approximately 35 €/day in shared accommodation, hints to find one will be sent to prospective participants;
- Travel;
- Transportation expenses once you arrive at UniTrento and the surrounding area unless you get from your host the Trentino Guest Card;
- Visa and health insurance, if needed (non-EU citizens).

An online informative meeting is organized:
- around mid March for each Summer School;
- around mid September for each Winter School.
