The pathway to earning the micro-credentials in Gender Studies offers interdisciplinary training on gender, equity and inclusion. You will gain knowledge, develop critical-thinking skills and use practical tools, drawing on the research and academic expertise of various departments of the University of Trento.

The course in Gender Studies addresses topics ranging from the analysis of inequalities to the design of inclusive policies. Students can choose from a selection of specialised courses, earn digital certifications and build a personalised pathway, with guaranteed quality and professional networking opportunities.

The aim is to develop an analytical approach to gender dynamics and to apply transversal skills to educational, social and workplace contexts. The pathway emphasises the link between academic research and inclusive practices on priority issues for society that call for methods and solutions geared towards cultural change.

What are micro-credentials?

If you complete the entire pathway, you will earn a micro-credential: a certification attesting the full set of skills you have developed in the programme. It is an additional qualification, independent of your degree programme, which you can follow alongside your studies or as a stand-alone enrichment course.
