MASTER'S INFORMATION
The first-level master's degree in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Neurodivergence is offered by the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science of the University of Trento, which is based in Rovereto.
The master's degree consists of a course of study and specialization aimed at both professional educators and teachers, and at professionals who work in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodivergence, in particular in the area of autism spectrum disorders ASD, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders ADHD, and specific learning disabilities SLD.

CONTENT AND REQUIREMENTS
To apply, candidates must have already obtained at least a first level degree or an equivalent foreign qualification.
Students who plan to graduate by 31 January 2025 may also be admitted.
Up to 5 auditors may be admitted for the classroom teaching activities only.
The master's degree aims to train people able to implement educational and training programmes for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodivergences ASD, ADHD, SLD and with other problems that compromise their emotional, relational and behavioral abilities.
The trainees will be equipped with the skills and professional autonomy necessary to design, promote and manage specific educational activities and to propose differentiated educational initiatives depending on the type of subject requiring them, the context in which they operate and the welfare system available.
The master's programme will take place between February 2025 and June 2026.
150 hours of classroom lessons, 600 hours of individual study related to the classroom lessons and 500 hours of non-classroom learning are planned, of which 250 in the form of workshops. The course also includes 200 hours of placement activities (50 hours of internal tutoring and 150 hours of external placement), and 50 hours of individual commitment related to the final exam.
Mandatory attendance is required for at least 75% of the planned teaching and workshop activities.
Students who have regularly participated in the master’s activities, completed the placements and passed the assessment tests and the final paper will be awarded a First Level University Master's Degree in "Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Neurodivergence".
The registration fee is 3,016.00 euros (including stamp duty) to be paid in two installments, the first of 1,816.00 euros to be paid by 26 February 2025, the second of 1,200.00 euros to be paid by 30 June 2025.
