Diversity Management: Inclusion and Equality

MASTER'S INFORMATION
The Master's programme in Diversity Management: Inclusion and Equity GeDIE aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills and multidisciplinary tools to recognize, interpret, manage and enhance diversity in all its dimensions – gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, culture, ethnicity or ability – and their intersections, through the design of effective measures and strategies at a professional and social and cultural level.
GeDIE is a one-year online Master's programme.

CONTENT AND REQUIREMENTS
To apply, candidates must have already obtained at least a first level degree or an equivalent foreign qualification.
Students who plan to graduate by 30 September 2024 may also be admitted.
Master's students can enrol in other courses at the same time under certain conditions (more information on the dedicated page).
The Master's aims to train experts in the field of diversity management, equity and inclusion in a wide range of public and private work contexts, including the field of human resources.
The participants will learn to create, design and implement actions and policies that aim to promote equity and valorize differences, as well as combating and preventing discrimination of any kind.
The master's degree adopts an intersectional approach in which equity policies and gender differences are analysed in their intertwining with other identity aspects that cross societies, cultures and relationships between individuals even within professional contexts.
The Master's activities, in Italian, will take place from 18 October 2024 to October 2025 mainly online in synchronous live sessions on Friday afternoon (17.00-20.00) and Saturday (morning and afternoon), with periodic face-to-face meetings to be held at the Department of Sociology and Social Research in Trento.
Attendance is required for at least 70% of the classroom activities.
The Master's includes 225 hours of active internship at public or private organizations, even outside the province of Trento, or also at your employer if you work in a sector that is related to the purposes of the Master.
Students who have regularly participated in the master’s activities and passed the assessment tests and the final paper and completed their internship will be awarded a First level Master's Degree.
The registration fee is 2,000.00 euros to be paid in two instalments, the first of 1,000.00 euros (including the stamp duty of 16.00 euros) by 30 September 2024, the second for the remaining 1,000.00 euros by 15 January 2025.
