This programme gives you the opportunity to spend part of your studies at a university other than the one you enrolled in, to experience another academic environment, broaden your skills and diversify your learning experience.
The goal of the programme is to strengthen the connections among Italian universities and promote innovative study paths that are capable of responding to the challenges of contemporary education.
Who can apply?
Applications are welcome from students enrolled in the academ year 2026-27 in bachelor's, Master's and single-cycle Master's degree programmes. While participating in the programme, you can attend courses, take exams, carry out curricular internships or thesis research activities at an Italian university that is a partner of UniTrento.
What the programme offers
- a study experience at another Italian university;
- recognition of studies based on previous agreement;
- scholarships for students with a means test (ISEE università) not exceeding 50,000 euros for the academic year 2025/26.
The information on any possible funding from the Ministry of University and Research to universities for scholarships will be published promptly on this page as soon as the Ministerial Decree is issued.
How to apply
Please consult the attached documents for the list of available destinations for your degree programme and read all the useful information in the call for applications.
Applications for first-semester 2026-27 mobility have closed on 18 August. Applications for second-semester mobility will open between October and November 2026. The new call will include positions not awarded in the first round, as well as those activated through new agreements signed between UniTrento and partner universities by that date.
Final ranking and registration procedures
The ranking for the Italian Erasmus Programme (first semester 2026-27) has been published.
If you are among the successful applicants, please confirm your participation by completing the online form by Monday, 31 August 2026. Failure to confirm will result in exclusion from the programme.
Once you have confirmed your place, download and complete the Learning Agreement (LA), have it signed by the coordinators at both universities, and send it to the Erasmus Italy Office before your departure.
