Governance, Innovazione e Strategie per lo sviluppo della Pubblica Amministrazione - GISPA
MASTER'S INFORMATION
The second-level Master's Degree in "Governance, innovation and strategies for the development of Public Administration - GISPA" aims to enhance public sector management. It provides students with knowledge of law, business economics, organisation, sociology and technology, while equipping them with practical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
The course is offered by the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento in collaboration with the Trentino School of Management (TSM).
The participants will acquire theoretical knowledge but also management skills, learning to fill managerial roles within the Public Administration (particularly in regional, provincial and local authorities), in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT).

CONTENT AND REQUIREMENTS
To apply, candidates must have:
- obtained a master's degree or a single-cycle master's degree, or a degree awarded under regulations previously in force
- have worked at least 4 years in the public administration, a company or a third-sector organisation
The Master provides students with interdisciplinary management and governance skills to learn to interpret rapidly changing contexts from a legal, economic, social, organizational and technological point of view, driving innovation in public administration.
The GISPA Master lasts 18 months, from October 2026 to March 2028, and is taught in Italian.
Classroom activities will take place at the TSM.
Attendance is required for at least 70% of the classroom activities.
The second-level Master's degree in "Governance, innovation and strategies for the development of Public Administration - GISPA" will be awarded to those who have regularly attended the activities and successfully passed both the periodic assessments and the final exam.
The registration fee is 3,000.00 (16.00 euros stamp duty included) and must be paid in two instalments.
The first of 1,500.00 euros to confirm the place, and the second of 1,500.00 euros by 31 May 2027.
Admission to the master's degree is through a call.
Each call indicates:
- the access requirements;
- the admission procedure;
- the deadlines;
- costs and scholarships.
The call for applications for this master's degree will be published in early July 2026.
APPLY
Applications must be submitted through the online form (in Italian) by 12.00 of 9 September 2026.
The following must be attached to the application in pdf format:
- a degree certificate, including a complete transcript of records with dates and grades for all the exams taken;
- your CV;
- any publications.
A committee will evaluate the documents submitted by the candidates and publish a ranking by 24 September 2026, awarding up to 50 points for the CV and up to 50 points for the interview.
To be admitted to the ranking, you must obtain at least 60/100 points.
The admitted candidates will be invited to confirm their place by 12:00 on 1 October 2026 by paying the first instalment of the registration fee.
