Administrative and technical staff of the University of Trento can participate in Erasmus+ mobility experiences. The exchanges must be approved by the applicants' heads of staff or director and by the person responsible for the funds. Priority is given to the staff of the International Relations Division and the Mobility Office.
The destinations are grouped as follows:
- Programme Countries;
- Partner Countries.
Programme Countries
Programme Countries are the countries that fully participate in Erasmus+. They include all the European Union Member States and a number of countries associated with the programme.
- administrative and technical staff
- language experts (CEL) and former "lettori".
European Union Member States: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden.
States outside the European Union: Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey.
Higher Education Institutions in countries not associated with the programme: Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Use the Culture simulator to find the most suitable country for your internship. The platform offers a series of work settings in different international contexts, giving users the opportunity to compare different options and identify the most appropriate destination based on their expectations.
The duration of the exchange may range from a minimum of 3 days (5 for the United Kingdom and Switzerland) up to 2 weeks. The exchanges must take place between mid-January and early December (exact dates are specified in the call).
The purpose of the mobility opportunity – including activities such as seminars, courses, job shadowing and more – must be the transfer of skills, the acquisition of practical skills and the exchange of good practices.
All expenses incurred within the limits indicated in the call will be reimbursed.
Usually, the call for applications for administrative and technical staff, language experts (CEL) and former "lettori" of UniTrento is published at the end of the year.
To apply, you must find a partner institution and submit an invitation letter issued by them. The call and all the information are available on the Service Desk pages.
Partner Countries
Partner Countries are non-European countries that participate in specific Erasmus+ activities, particularly in the field of international cooperation and extra-EU mobility. Exchanges opportunities with these countries are available for teaching, training and collaboration with selected partner institutions.
Higher education institutions that have entered into an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility agreement with UniTrento and which provide funds for outgoing staff mobility.
For more information on the partners of currently active projects visit the page Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility-ICM.
The exchange may range from a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of 60 days, excluding travel. Typically, the duration of these initiatives, which must be agreed with the partner institution, is 5 working days.
Expenses are covered by Erasmus+ funds up to the project maximum amounts and to 190 euros per day (180 euros for the 2023 Call), in addition to a contribution for travel expenses calculated based on the distance travelled. UniTrento will provide up to an additional 1,000 euros to cover any expenses exceeding the maximum amounts of European funds.
Grants will be assigned based on a first-come, first-served basis and until available resources are exhausted.
