The interuniversity PhD programme in Mathematics offered by the Universities of Trento and Verona provides a high-level study programme aimed at equipping students with the skills necessary to conduct research in pure and applied mathematics.

The programme of the course is defined by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Trento, where teaching and research activities take place, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science of the University of Verona.

The course is supported by various research groups and laboratories dedicated to pure and applied mathematics, offering PhD students a wide range of study and research opportunities. These groups maintain relationships with international universities and research centers, where students can carry out part of their training, typically during the final year of study.
