The LLB is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Law and, in the context of this double degree programme, is awarded after a two-year course of study in Glasgow (instead of three).
The LLM Master of Law is awarded after one year of study in Glasgow and certifies knowledge of legal disciplines at the specialist degree level.
These qualifications are valued by employers in the legal sector in Italy and at the international level, and this is the added value of a double degree.
Graduates from the Common Law LLB programme may take the Solicitor Qualifying Examination in England and Wales, after which, to become a solicitor or advocate, a two-year practice period is required.
