Who can apply?
Applications are welcome from students who:
- are enrolled in the Master of Science in Psychology at UAI;
- have a B2 level of Italian and B1 level of English based on the Common European Reference Framework.
Duration, organisation and tuition fees
The participants can join the programme for 1 or 2 semesters.
In case of a one-semester mobility, students must earn at least 30 ECTS through academic activities such as courses and exams. They will complete their course requirements and attend the remaining semester at UAI, according to their study plan.
Students are required to carry out an internship (TPV) and pass a practical test (PPV).
To graduate from UniTrento, students must earn 120 ECTS, reach a B2 level of English, complete the internship and pass the practical test at UniTrento.
Students participating in the double degree programme continue to pay their tuition fees to UAI.
Internship and practical test
Internship - Tirocinio pratico valutativo (TPV)
Students participating for one semester will carry out the internship at UAI.
Students joining the programme for two semester will carry out the internship and take the practical test at UniTrento.
In terms of characteristics, content and duration, the internship carried out in Trento must comply with the provisions of the regulation.

Once they have completed the internship, students must pass the practical test (PPV).
Thesis and qualifications
In case of a one-semester mobility the final thesis must be co-supervised by one professor from each institution and must be defended at UAI.
In the case of a two-semester mobility, the final thesis must be co-supervised by one professor from each institution and can be defended either at UniTrento or at UAI.
At the end of the double degree programme, students will be awarded:
- a Master’s Degree in Psychology (Department of Psychology) from UAI;
- a Master’s Degree in Psychology (Laurea Magistrale in Psicologia, classe LM 51, Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science) from UniTrento.
