The PhD Programme in Human-centered Precision Medicine aims to train, through a multidisciplinary approach, highly qualified professionals capable of integrating clinical research, healthcare practice, and technological innovation, promoting a vision of precision medicine that combines scientific rigor with attention to the individual.

The programme moves beyond the traditionally reductionist approach focused on biomarkers and genetics, proposing a broader model that also considers the social, psychological, and biographical determinants of health, recognizing the patient as an individual embedded in a relational and cultural context.

PhD candidates acquire advanced theoretical and methodological skills that enable them to independently carry out high-level clinical and translational research, integrating biological, technological, and narrative data in the design of personalized care pathways.

At the end of the programme, graduates will be able to pursue academic careers or take on positions of responsibility in hospitals, healthcare organizations, research centres, and health institutions, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices, the design of clinical trials, the assessment of health technologies, and the analysis of complex clinical data to support clinical and organizational decision-making.
