Psicologia clinica
COURSE INFORMATION
The Specialization School in Clinical Psychology offers advanced and multidisciplinary training aimed at developing skills in the evaluation and treatment of mental health throughout life.
The programme is structured around a number of central themes: the basics of well-being and distress, diagnosis at different stages of development, prevention and support interventions, and the functioning mechanisms of psychotherapy.
During their training, the students learn about diagnostic techniques, the design of interventions based on scientific evidence, the use of different therapeutic approaches – from the psychodynamic to the cognitive-behavioural approach– and the criteria for the evaluation of clinical efficacy.
The School prepares the students to respond to the growing needs of the healthcare and social sectors, which require highly qualified professionals to provide effective and evidence-based psychological care, from local services to private counselling.
