Diversity Management: Inclusion and Equality
MASTER'S INFORMATION
Gestione delle Diversità: Inclusione ed Equità (GeDIE) is a first level Master’s program, promoted by the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science of the University of Trento.
GeDIE aims to provide multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in analyzing, designing and implementing actions and policies aimed at promoting equity and fighting discrimination related to the multiple differences (of gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, culture, ethnicity, abilities, etc.) that cross societies, cultures and relationships between individuals within professional contexts. At the end of the Master's program, participants will have acquired the multidisciplinary knowledge and skills to analyze differences, to manage and to enhance them, in order to build inclusive contexts and vectors of occupational and social well-being.
The Master’s program has a duration of 15 months, from October 2026 to December 2027 and it is held in Italian language.
The course in brief
CONTENT AND REQUIREMENTS
To apply, candidates must have already obtained at least a first level degree or an equivalent foreign qualification.
Students who plan to graduate by 2 October 2026 may also be admitted.
The Master's aims to train experts in the field of diversity management, equity and inclusion in a wide range of public and private work contexts, including the field of human resources.
The participants will learn to create, design and implement actions and policies that aim to promote equity and valorize differences, as well as combating and preventing discrimination of any kind.
The master's degree adopts an intersectional approach in which equity policies and gender differences are analysed in their intertwining with other identity aspects that cross societies, cultures and relationships between individuals even within professional contexts.
The Master's duration is 15 months and is organized in modules. The Master's activities, in Italian, will take place mainly online in synchronous live sessions on Fridays and Saturdays, with periodic face-to-face meetings to be held at the Department of Sociology and Social Research in Trento.
Attendance is required for at least 70% of the activities.
Students who have regularly participated in the Master’s activities and passed the assessment tests and the final paper and completed their internship will be awarded a First level Master's degree.
The registration fee is 3,000.00 euros to be paid in two instalments of 1,500.00 euros each (including the stamp duty of 16.00 euros). The first one must be paid by 23.59 on 27 September 2026 to confirm your place, the second by 30 April 2027.
Admission to the master's degree is through a call.

APPLY
To apply to the Master's GeDIE, complete the online application form from 19 June and submit it by 12:00 noon on 7 September 2026.
The following documents must be attached to the application in PDF format:
- CV in European format, including any publications and work experience;
- certification or self-certification of your degree with the list of exams taken, dates, results and thesis title;
- a personal statement and cover letter (max. 1,000 words).
A committee will evaluate the submitted documentation and publish an admission ranking by 21 September 2026, awarding up to 40 points for the CV, up to 30 points for the motivational letter, and up to 30 points for the interview. A minimum final score of 60/100 is required to be considered eligible.
Admitted candidates must confirm their enrolment by 23:59 on 27 September 2026 and simultaneously pay the first instalment of the tuition fees.
